Urgent...Automatic PDF PO email generation

Hello All,

I am trying to understand how to automatically generate a custom PO output and automatically generate an email to the supplier.  Is this possible in R12?  Are there any whitepapers or detailed notes that explain how-to?  We have the supplier communication method set and we have a custom PO developed.  I want to have this automatically emailed (or printed) when the PO is approved.   We use blanket releases and want to email when the release is automatically approved.  Can this be accomplished thru a workflow modification?  We use Blanket Releases and they are automatically created and approved.
