PO Approval - FYI Notification

Hi,

Is there any functionality that is available to send FYI kind of notification (to a specified person/email address) when the PO document total exceeds some specified value?

PS: It may not be necessary for the person to be part of Approval Hierarchy. It should be just a FYI notification when the document total exceeds some specified value.
