Maintenance Valuation Accounts

Hi ,

Just wanted to confirm my understanding  on the Maintenance Accounting Class Set Up.

1. Should the Valuation and Variance accounts in a Maintenance Accounting Class be set as same in both Std Costing and Avg Costing Method ?

2. Should all the accounts be of type "Expense" ?

I suppose  there is no variance involved in a Work Order Cost.
