Upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to R12

Hi,

After upgrade from 11.5.10 to R12,

1) Do we need to populate the TAX Regime details in the AI Tables? in 11i, we are only passing the VAT Code and the tax is calculated by the Oracle Tax engine.

2) We have transaction types defined for which the TAX Calculation is not enabled. In R12, the TAX Calculations option is no more available in the Transaction type defination?

How do we stop AR from calculating TAX on these specific Transaction types?

Any inputs would be appreciated.
