unable to startup DB after recovery - ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Hello!

I am more of a DB-Developer and my knowledge in administration is rather small. Today I stumbled upover a problem which I wasn't able to solve, not even after more than 6 hours by now. I just wanted to start "my" dev-DB on a virtual machine (Ora 11.2.0.2 on Oracle Linux on VirtualBox). No idea what went wrong, possibly something when shutting down, but it didn't come up. Working myself through some crude errors (about the listener which was actually working fine) I came to the point that I had a damaged datafile, just as in this thread (although this
