prstat and top commands are not working

Hi
I have a T5120 with Solaris 10 on which I can't run prstat and top commands. It worked fine yesterday as always but not today. When I type prstat (or top) and then press enter nothing happens, there is no output. I have to do Ctrl+C to get back to the prompt. Has anyone had the same problem? I have in the past had problems with ifconfig command which just hanged. I contacted Oracle support at that time and they advised me to reboot the host. So I did and after boot the command work.
