is there a similar document for 10gr2 as 1136544.1?

1136544.1 explains how you clone and patch an ORACLE_HOME on 11gr2 minimizing the downtime as you will clone you production oracle_home, patching it and them move the database.to this new oracle_home. I have found this document for 11g onlty and I am wondering if there is one for 10gr2 or if this type of approach is not recommended for a RAC 10gr2 installation.
