Current period shown first in LOV in OEBS

Is it possible to change the way periods are sorted (and shown in the LOV) in OEBS? Normally in OEBS the future periods will appear before the current period. We want the current period to appear first, and then the future dated periods. Is this possible?

As far as I know this is not possible during set up.

We really appreciate an answer to this question.
