Hi All,

I was trying some things in the Oracle Fixed Assets as I was trying to learn this module.
I retired and reinstated an Asset in the same period(Nov-11). But after running the depreciation
I noticed that the depreciation amount is changed(almost doubled) for Nov-11 as compared to the previous period(OCT-11). Please find the details as of NOV-11 below.

Asset Cost=3100
Accumulated Depreciation=2143.70
YTD depreciation=1024.26
Net book value=956.30
Depreciation Amount=163.16(Depreciation Amount for OCT-11 was 86.11)
Date in service= 10-Dec-2009
Prorate Date= 01-Dec-2009
Life years=3

Please help me to understand why the depreciation amount got changed from 86.11 to 163.16.We are on 11.5.10.2.

Howdy, Stranger!
