Query regarding Basic Preventive Maitenance for scheduled based usage

Hi All,

I merely require help regarding Oracle CRM Preventive Maitenance Module setup

I did setup Basic Preventive Maitenance for scheduled based usage and it started creating SRs and Tasks automatically.I have few clarifications regarding this
>
> 1.I have defined PM Program and attached Activity.The Activity does have effectivity which is refering to specific ITEM (Product).On otherhand Our Service Contract has got coverage level at Product level(Item level) and one serial number attached to it. If I attach above PM Program, how it behaves? Will it create SRs and Tasks for only for that particular serial number (Uniq  IB Item instance) or it will create for all service contracts which are attached to Product(Item).I would like to understand how program picks up the schedule and auto create  Preventive Maintenance SRs and Tasks ?
