Migrating to Database server from RedHat to IBM AIX

Hi all,

This is M. Ramesh kumar, working as an Oracle DBA. Due to higher management discretion we are about to migrate the operating system on our database servers from RedHat EL 5 to IBM AIX operating system.

This database is being used by Oracle EBiz applications.

Can anyone of you let us know the pros and cons of going to this operating system?

What are the areas that we need to consider to ensure the existing system performance will not go down?
