From when to to define Fiscal Calendar & Depreciation Calendar in Implementation

Dear All,
Can any one give me details from what date on wards i have to define Fiscal Calendar, Depreciation Calendar and Prorate Calendar in Implementation. My Oldest Date Place in Service is  1Jan 1901. In my legacy data i am seeing that asset.
