Healthcare Bad Debt Expense Reporting Change

in General Ledger - EBS (MOSC) Question
The FASB has issued a statement that starting in 2012 healthcare organizations will need to start reporting bad debt expense net of revenue rather than as an operating expense.  I have a client who is considering the various Oracle GL options to accomplish this including a change in the accounting heirarchy, a change in FSG row set definition, or a mass maintenance function.  We are curious as to what route other healthcare organizations that use Oracle GL are doing to meet this requirement.
