HAIP: configure multible interconnect interfaces in Linux
Dear friends,
im trying to setup a 11.2.0.3 RAC with 2 nodes using the HAIP feature. I reading MOS Note 1210883.1 an many other resources.
But now i am a little bit confused:
i have 4 free NIC's on every node to use for the interconnect but i dont know how i must setup them in the linux (OEL 5.7) OS...
here my questions:
- can i give every single NIC a uniq IP adress (like 10.10.10.1/24) ?
- is it possible to give every single NIC a different IP net range? for example:
NIC 1 :10.10.10.1
NIC 2: 10.10.20.1
NIC 3: 10.10.30.1
NIC 4: 10.10.40.1
or must the they all in the same subnet?
