what is the output of Inventory Optimization (IO) plan and where does it go?

I am trying to determine at a table and field level where the output of inventory optimization (I.O.) is loaded in ASCP.  I also need clarification on what is the exact output of I.O. that is returned to ASCP.  Does the I.O. plan only send safety level to ASCP or does it include days cover as the safety_stock_percent in msc_system_items?
