Change GL Calendar

Hello,

Currently in a set_of_books we have a calendar with 13 periods from JAN-11 to DEC-11 with one period Adjustement ADJ1. We received a request in order to change the calendar and make it from JUL-11 to JUN-12 with a period ADJ1.
- It's supported to do this change?
- It is possible to add some periods to 2011 exercice and start a new exercice in JUL-12?

As we know in exercice 2011, if the user close DEC-11, all annual report will be done to JAN-12, it's possible to cancel this report?
