SNMP Traps in Version 12c

 This might sound a silly question but in Em12c we need to use SNMP traps to send notifications to another system when certain incidents occur. 
I've no problem in setting the trap up but can anyone tell me what versions of SNMP EM12c supports when it comes to adding a trap. The reason I ask is that we've had a penetration test on our data centre and they've flagged up that we're not using SNMP V3. So we need to know if we change to SNMP V3 that we're not going to have problems propagating alerts from our EM12c system.
