Inventory on Hand Quantity

 If you have an inventory item with no quantity on hand and you go to (On Hand Availbility) then (On hand Quantity) and enter the item number and the screen comes up with no information. You can take an item with quantity available and it display's the information.  I am trying to find a solution to this problem. We are running R12 in oracle.
