US: PAY: Negative Exempt Amount on Tax Balance for FIT after 2011 Payroll Year End Phase I patch

Hi,

We are on Oracle R12.0.8 HRMS. We've applied the payroll EOY phase 1 and 2 patches in our production instances already.

We just realized that the FIT Exempt amount on View Tax Balance is negative for all employees.  We were able to figure out that this problem started occuring after we put the EOY phase 1 patch in on Nov. 12, 2011.   For regular US employees, the expectation is that the FIT exempt amount should be zero all the time.

  • Right now if we date track to 11/11/11, all dimensions of the FIT exempt amount are showing zero.
  • If we date tracked to 11/25/11 or a later date till 11/30/2011, all dimensions of the FIT exempt amounts show the same negative amount. As a result FIT gross < FIT Subject by the negative Exempt.

Howdy, Stranger!
