Project and task going blank on saving the sales order line

Hello

We are capturing the project and task in sales order line DFF (as we dont tie inventory to projects) and now implementing proj mfg..I created a forms personalization to default the project and task in standard Oracle fields based on the DFF. Now project and task fields are populating correctly based on the DFF ...while saving the order line, project/task goes blank. If I choose the same project/task from the list of values, there is no issue. Wondering if someone can advice some otehr fields to be set to retain the project and task....

Now I am setting :LINE.Project_number and :Line.Task_Number, :Line.Project_id and :Line.Task_id
