Transfer transactions to GL Vs Transfer Journal Entries to GL - Cost Management

 Hi,

The Program  " Transfer transactions to GL " in 11i which was Under Inventory got repalced by " Transfer Journal Entries to GL - Cost Management "   Cost managment (under BOM Application) as per the metalink note  " Inctgl Module: Transfer Transactions To Gl Program Is Missing After in 12.1 [ID 1351878.1]. "  Is this write or wrong..

 

   Is the new standard program in R12 " Transfer Journal Entries to GL - Cost Management " has any  functionality change from old 11i standard program " Transfer transactions to GL  " .
