Delete invalid records-when we will use this feature and

Documents are saying that ,removing a member would create invalid records. I can understand that. But for example,

A parent entity A1 has children called B1 and B2. I have entered data as 10 and 10 in B1 and B2 and consolidated. Now I have got 20 in A1.

Now,
1. I want to delete the member B1. What would be the calc status in A1 and will there be any changes in A1 as per data?
2. I want to move the B1 to a different hierarchy called C1. What would be the calc status in A1 and will there be any changes in A1 as per data?
