Upgrade Table Conversions with Tools Release 9.1 and Planner ESU JL17837

Just wanted to let the Upgrade Community aware of some changes and issues with upgrade table conversions with Tools Release 9.1 and with the latest Planner ESU, JL17837:

* New *ALTER method for improved performance of upgrade table conversions

  • Built into the code with the latest Planner ESU and Tools Release 9.1. See KM document "E1: UPGTC: Upgrade Table Conversion Workbench Now Uses New Process for *ALTER Table Conversions [Doc ID 1391134.1]
  • Manual instructions available in KM document "E1: UPG: UPGTC: Best Practices - Improved Upgrade Table Conversion Performance" [Doc ID 1310943.1]

* Upgrade TC Issues Identified with new Planner ESU

  • Two TC issues have been found with changes provided by the new Planner ESU. See KM document "E1: UPGTC: Installation Workbench Hangs. Table Conversion Status Not Updating to Complete [
