Large files generated in Udump

Hi All,

Recently we ran the Gather Schema Statistice in PROD from the front end and while running this request the trace file generated in udump location as 1.2 GB size..

please anybody tell me is it any effect or problem to Database? and can we delete all old files in dump location one month ago for the space.
