OEM12C and Exadata System Monitoring Plug-ins

Hello,

Very new to this and trying to gather and understand all the information.  My question is regarding the Exadata system monitoring plug-ins.  Do I need to also install opscenter to use the system monitoring plug-ins for Exadata?  And if so I assume that 11g opscenter is certifed for EMCC 12c?
