Desirability of a new feature when monitoring RAC One Node databases with Grid Control/Cloud Control

Hello community members,

We are trying to evaluate the desirability for changing an existing feature when monitoring a RAC One Node database with Grid Control/Cloud Control.

As per: RAC One Node Support in Grid Control 11.1 (Doc ID 1308490.1)
 
When monitoring a RAC One Node database with 11g/12c EM, after one failover of the instance, there will be at least one shown as down for this cluster database. There were been requests so far made that the old instances are masked somehow and it's not shown as down or the topology for this specific flavour of RAC database changed in EM. Also, there were other customers requesting this not to be changed as reports can be made more easily to follow the availability of a certain instance on a certain node, when the failover occurred, etc.
