arabic characterset

 dear oracler 
I have an problem, my oracle database not storing arabic, one of oracle client storing arabic and retrive arabic and its working fine, 
IT helpdesk change his PC i did reintstall the application but it not working fine with arabic. 
can any one help me in that !!
i do not want to change anything in oracle database. 
client machine is windows xp. 
database 9i
