IPC Send timeout

Good Morning,

I have some 2 node RAC databases, 10.2.0.4. Running on SLES10 on IBM z series. In the alert log I am getting "IPC Send timeout detected. Receiver ospid 19018". It tells me to look in a trace file for a pz process. In the trace file I see:

MESSAGE TRUNCATED user data 48 bytes payload 1672 bytes

truncated message buffer data skgxpmsg meta data header 0x0x3fffff95640 len 48 bytes

We were doing an impdp on one node, and it hung until we stoped the other node. We've been getting these messages for a while, but we are just starting to make heave use of the databases, so this the first time it really caused a noticable problem.
