Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. ECO item revision

Hi

Anyone has experience implenting ECO ( Engineering change order) with item revision ?

We have a requirement to implement ECO with item revison for the purchase components.

For example Make item A has the bom components B ( which is buy item). Purchasing lead time - say one month for this buy item.

Current verson of A and B is 001. Current date 15-JAN-11

We want to revise the BOM for the Make Item A on 01-JUN-11, with new item version of B ( New rev for item B is 002)

So we would like issue ECO for A ( new rev 002) effective date from 01-JUN-11.
