Data Migration from 8.12 to 9.0

Hi ALL,

We want to transfer only Production database (business data and control tables) from 8.12/8.98.3.4 database server to 9.0 application release with TR8=9.1.0.1 database server directly. both application releases installed on seperate servers everthing is seperate there is no link between them.

can i just copy JDE_Production database of 8.12 and restore database to 2nd DB server for 9.0? will it work fine?

SQL Server 2008 Ent R2 installed on both DB servers
