Hi Community,

I hope I am posting to a right community.

At one of my customer site I could see following scenario:

Here is the issue:

 

Enterprise Description:  Siebel Production enterprise is a stack of 24 servers(8 appOM, 4 nonOM & 11 cti & 1 gateway) + 4 web servers.   Platform AIX 5.3

 

Issue:    While starting one of the appOM, team experience permission change issue at random intervals with /tmp/regssa000d:13505.pid file.

 

                                The user with which team start the server is 'siebsupp' with group as 'siebadmn' & the same goes with the above mentioned file.

 

However, some time at random intervals they experience issue with this file where the permission changes to users like root, nobody, siebadmn due to which they are unable to run siebenv.sh file & proceed with the startup commands. The error is as follows:
