Supplemental Data and Category Codes

Hi,

I have couple of questions.

What is supplemental data used for? How to add new supplemental code in the system other than what is there. Eg. I could see Emergency Contacts,Skills,Education etc are available in the system.

How to add Passport Details,Experience Letter etc as supplemental data.

What is Category code used for? How to add new category code and what is the purpose of having it.
