Reclaim space used by STATSPACK?

Hi,
I have gathered snapshots for over 1,5 month. The data is quite large now and I want to purge some data.

I tried this: exec statspack.purge(7, i_extended_purge=>TRUE)

It deletes the snapshots older then 7 days.

But the tbs still uses as much space as before the purge. And if I keep taking snapshots, the tbs will grow even larger.

How do I reclaim the space used by STATSPACK so that the tbs reuse the space left after the purge?
