Want to Enable Encumbrance Accounting

Dear Procurement Gurus,

We went live in 12.0.5 3 years back, on windows, at that time there was an issue in running validate Application Accountion definition program for "Encumbrance Accural"

Now we  validated the accounting definition for "Encumbrance Accrual", and want to Set Accruals 'ON', can you plesae tell me what kind of precautions i need to take.
