Solaris 11 and SVM commands
Hello
I am aware that Oracle are pushing us away from UFS in favour of ZFS on Solaris 11 and that its the only supported bootable file system, but my understanding is that UFS is still supported in Solaris 11 and can be used for data if required. I am currently doing some testing with a new SAN sub system and need to run some tests involving ZFS, UFS, VxFS and so on before we migrate to it. We use SVM mirrors with UFS in some of our existing environments but SVM doesnt appear to be available in Solaris 11.
Am I mistaken and simply reading the wrong docs?
