Close company mid fiscal year

We have closed one of our many companies mid fiscal year because the company was dissolved. Can we run the job Close Process - Create Income Closing Journals mid fiscal year?  Please provide a procedure.
Will this dissolved company be ignored when we run our normal fiscal year end and not create any journal entries for this company?
