Need advise to shutdown and start the 2 node RAC with Standalone physical standby databases

Hi,

 I need some advise regarding shutdown and startup of RAC db's. We have some hardware maintenance in the coming weekends. We are planning to shutdown the servers that weekend.
The RAC is a 2 node with 2 databases each. (primary1, secondary1, primary 2 and secondary2). We have DR site in Chicago with standalone physical standby databases (primarystby, secondrystby) in maximum performance mode and constantly getting archive logs from RAC nodes.

During the outage weekend, I will have to shutdown the RAC (both nodes) and planning to do in the following sequence:

Check that primary and standby are synchronized
PRIMARY
ORACLE_SID=primary1
