Siebel installed on Unix/Linux
Hello -
Currently we're thinking of scrapping existing Siebel implementation, and do greenfield implementation. We'll be using mostly out of the box functionality. We also have an opportunity to change our database and application server operating system. Currently we're using SQL Server and we've decided to use Oracle 11g with Siebe SIA 8.1.1.6.
My question is mostly application server operation system (OS) related.
Currently we are using Windows 2008 and we don't see much issue, but I was wondering whether changing to Linux/Sun OS would make any difference in terms of performance, stability, scalability of the Siebel application.
Would appreciate any feedback
