Cost Management - EBS (MOSC)

Item Cost is null

We are on 11.5.10 and using Average costing. Recenly we found that for 2 items the avg. cost is showing as zero after a return (Miscallenous transaction) was performed.

What could be the reason of avg. cost zero even there are quantities in inventory?
