Configuration Management Pack vs Configuration Manager Software

Hello Everyone,

Can someone please explain or point me to documentation regarding the differences between the Enterprise Manager 12c Configuration Management Pack and the Configuration Manager Software.  I'm in the process of doing a POC on installing EMCC 12c with Oracle Exadata and the team has asked about Configuration Manager.  I'm wondering if the better process would be to install the pack instead if it has all the attributes that the Configuration Manager has?
