Trying to get an SR to default open with header maximized

I am looking to find if there is a way to have the SR form default to open with the header maximized. I have attached a screen shot of a new SR with the header maximized. Basically, for our uses, we are looking to have the bare minimum in terms of fields showing for our users, and it would be nice to have it default with the header maximized so the SR looks simplified. Not sure if this is possible, but any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, if there is a viable path for completing this, please describe in layman's terms; I am a bit of a beginner in terms of personalizations/customizations.
