jacc.defaults : settings for PLM e611 Java clients

In the jacc.defaults file is a remark that one can change the location of the user specific files :

# To change the location of the user specific files (jacc.ini and jacc.objects),
# set jacc.home to the desired directory (with the -D option on the command line).

when I add line :

jacc.home=h:\temp

nothing changes at startup.

Is it possible to change the home folder for the Java client  without the -d option on the command line ?
