Recording Company Aquisitions in Oracle
What are the best practices in Oracle for recording of Corporate Aquisitions (for R11i) in Oracle GL?
Here is the scenario:
We currently have 2 Companies (Company 01 and Company 02), which use subledgers AP, AR, Inventory and Projects. These 2 companies curently consolidate into one company (Company 11), which do not have any subledgers, but few other transactions besides the consolidated data.
They all are on one instance, but use separate chart of accounts and separate set of books. The value sets for all segments are also separate. Separate calendars are being used, all with One adjusting period. All calendars are Jan-Dec (Calendar Year).
