Applying Security in AR - possibly restricting one department from seeing a another department's Deb

Is there a possibility without customizing the AR module; to apply Security in AR. Business wants certain departments not to see other department's Invoices, etc. in AR.

I was thinking if it's possible to restrict by Transaction Type perhaps.

I would really appreciate your urgent response on this.

We are on 11.5.10.
