Solaris 10 security/hardening - ICMP

Hello,
I've received a request from the security team to consider disabling the following in ICMP:
  • packets 13 and 14 and/or code 0 ( # ndd -set /dev/ip ip_respond_to_timestamp_broadcast 0 )
  • packets 17 and 18
Can I resolve that without resorting to ipfilter (5)?

Furthermore, what "netservices limited" really does?
Just services or it provides a secure by default box?
