Read only tables

I am not sure if I have asked this question before or not. Anyway, I have couple of schemas that own tables that are static history tables no transaction or update, insert, delete will occur to those. Do I still need to analyze and get statistic for these tables? My first instinct told me that the answer is no. But, I just want to make sure. Version is 10.2.0.3 Thanks.
