Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Windows 2008 64 bit and ORA_LPENABLE=1 11g2

Hi,I have Oracle dib Standard Edition on Windows 2008 server 64 bit (R2) with 16 gb of RAm.

I have set the sga size to 9 GB and PGA to 1 GB.

Have I to set the register parameter ORA_LPENABLE= 1 to enable large page support and better performance ?

What could be the benefit ?
