Orders involving Configured Part

I have a configured part in OM. Upon progressing the order, Oracle creates the configured order in a few inventory organization. How does Oracle determine which organizations will need to have the new configured part? I am looking for the set up screen where I can specify the orgs that it should create the configured part.

Related to the above, the line status for the configured part goes to 'Supply Eligible', but what I needed is it has to change the status to 'Awaiting Supply' as I plan to source it from another inventory organization.
