Projects Budgetary Control and Financial Plans

Hi,

I have searched documentation and My Oracle Support Knowledge for information regarding the budgetary control using not the forms budgets, but the financial plans.

The only thing I could find is an old bug which seems to be an Enhancement Request 8226357 for EBS 12.0.6 and an older one 7245223  for 11.5.10.2.

Can anyone confirm that this functionality does not exist and that there is only an enhancement request for this. Is this going to be implemented in future releases?

And also how to handle budgetary control when having Project Management and using financial plans only? Is Upgrading the forms budgets to financial plans a solution?
