Lifecycle does not show up on advanced search list, or Item Lifecycle Phase list in Admin, but we ca

We are running 9.2.2.2.13.  We have a lifecycle that we have been using for a few years now that I just realized does not come up in the list of Lifecycles when doing an Advanced search on Lifecycles "in".  I can get the search to work by selecting "not in" and selecting all the other lifecycles.  In researching this issue in Admin we find that the lifecycle in question does not show up under Admin>Data Settings>Classes>Items>Lifecycle Phases. When we try to create that lifecycle there, the system tells us that the Lifecycle already exists.  Is there another location where we
